Enderrick, who heads to Real Madrid, gets his first call-up to the Brazil national team

The teenager Enderrick, who is about to join Real Madrid, received his first call-up to the Brazilian national team.

The 17-year-old Palmeiras striker will join Real Madrid next summer and has been included in the squad for Brazil's World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Argentina later this month.

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus has also been named in the squad, although he has missed the team's three games through injury, while Manchester United's Casemiro has been sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Neymar recently underwent surgery to rupture his anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and has been sidelined.

Brazil will face Colombia in Barranquilla on November 16 before taking on the world champions at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro five days later.

Argentina, led by Messi, leads the South American qualifiers with 12 points from four games, while Brazil is third with 7 points. In their last game, they drew 1-1 with Venezuela and lost 0-2 to Uruguay.

Six teams from South America will directly qualify for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and the seventh-placed team will participate in the intercontinental play-offs.
