Liverpool have been linked with a number of quality wingers to replace Mohamed Salah, with Rodrygo's name once again thrust into the spotlight.

According to reports in Spain, Jurgen Klopp is willing to sign the Brazil international to replace the Egyptian superstar at Anfield.

"Klopp, as well as being a great coach, likes good players. He likes a Real Madrid player who is loved by the leadership, but if Mbappe comes in the summer, he may leave. He is a A player who would be considered to replace Salah.”

"The player he likes is Rodrygo. He will put him in the band because he will replace the Egyptian. If Mbappe comes, Real Madrid will be overloaded in many positions."

Rodrigo is a versatile talent who cannot play on any wing or even as a center forward, but he mainly excels on the right.

He scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 2022 when Real Madrid won the Champions League. Last season, the 22-year-old directly contributed to 30 goals (19 goals and 11 assists) in all competitions for Real Madrid.

The Samba star has been operating as a No.9 since Karim Benzema left this summer and has scored just two goals in 13 games so far this season.

Rodrygo does not want to play as an out-and-out striker and Real Madrid value him at around €100m (£87m).

Salah's statistics have been incredible since moving to Liverpool in 2017 and even at the age of 31 he is still our best attacker.

The veteran is the Reds' leading scorer, and the Reds need a proven quality and world-class playmaker to replace him.

In your opinion, is Rodrigo good enough? Should Liverpool pay £87m to sign him?
